Terms and conditions of use and sale
What binds you to us when you create an account or subscribe to a plan, and what binds us to you.
Version of 10 Oct 2026. It applies to accounts created and subscriptions taken out from that date; for a subscription already running, see changes to these terms.
In short
- Creating an account and using the free plan costs nothing, and no card is needed.
- Paid plans are monthly with no commitment: you cancel them online at any time, effective at the end of the month already paid.
- You have 14 days to withdraw from a subscription, from the “Withdraw from the contract here” page of your account.
- The tax module calculates, it does not file: its amounts are indicative, and the return remains yours.
- We neither hold nor move any of your assets: exchange connectors are read-only.
This summary helps you read the terms below; it does not replace them.
1. Who we are
Crypto Master is a service published by MG INNOVATIONS, whose registered office is at 320 Rue Saint Honoré, 75001 PARIS, France. Its full identity — legal form, share capital, registration, VAT number — is given in the legal notice.
To reach us: the contact form. Our email address is not published on the site, so that robots do not harvest it; it appears on each of your invoices.
2. The service
Crypto Master brings your exchange accounts and crypto wallets together into a single view: importing your history from a file, from a read-only API key or from a wallet’s public address, manual entry, valuation, cost basis, gains, and the tax module. The service is provided online, from the app.crypto-master.io application, as soon as the account is created.
Crypto Master holds no assets and moves none. It is not a crypto-asset service provider and gives no investment advice: its figures describe your own transactions, they are neither a recommendation nor a forecast.
These terms govern the use of the service, free or paid. What the service is and is not is also described in the legal notice.
3. Your account
The service is for adults only. Signing up is free; it requires a valid email address, which you confirm, and acceptance of these terms.
You keep your password secret and are responsible for the use of your account. If you think someone else has access to it, change your password and write to us.
A demo account, open without signing up, shows a fictitious portfolio. It is read-only and shared by all its visitors: do not enter any personal data there.
4. Plans, prices and limits
Crypto Master offers a free plan and paid monthly plans. Their content, limits and prices are those shown on the pricing page on the day you subscribe.
Prices include all taxes: the amount displayed is the amount charged. A launch discount, when one is offered, applies for the period stated when you subscribe; when it ends, the full price stated when you subscribed applies. No price is personalised on the basis of automated decision-making.
Each plan limits the number of connected accounts — an exchange account or a wallet, not a user — and the number of transactions. An “unlimited” plan has no limit. Reaching a limit deletes and hides nothing: it only refuses the next addition, until you change plans.
5. Subscription and payment
You choose a plan on the application’s pricing page, in the currency of your choice — euro or US dollar. Before paying, you accept these terms and make, in a separate box, the request for immediate performance described under Right of withdrawal. Payment is collected by our provider Stripe: your bank details are entered on its pages and do not pass through our servers.
The contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed, and the plan is provided immediately. The price is charged every month, in advance, on the anniversary date of the subscription. An invoice is issued for each payment and remains available under “Invoices” in your account.
If a payment fails, Stripe attempts it again. Until it succeeds, the features and limits of the paid plan are no longer provided; your data is not deleted.
6. Term and cancellation
A paid subscription is concluded for an indefinite term and paid monthly, in advance. It renews every month until it is cancelled.
You can cancel it at any time, online: “My account” page of the application, link “Payment method, invoices, cancellation”. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly period: the plan remains provided until then, nothing is charged afterwards, and the period already started is not refunded — unless you exercise the right of withdrawal or the legal guarantee of conformity.
The free plan has no term: you stop using it whenever you wish.
The end of a paid subscription deletes no data. Your account remains open, and the free plan gives you access to your portfolio again; beyond its limits, nothing is deleted or hidden, only new accounts and imports are refused.
To delete your account and your data, write to us using the contact form: the application does not yet have a button for it. The data is then erased within the periods described in the privacy policy.
For our part, we may suspend or close an account in the event of a serious breach of these terms — fraud, attack on the security of the service or on other people’s data, unlawful use — after asking you to put an end to it, except in an emergency or where the law requires otherwise.
If we stop offering the service or one of the paid plans, we notify you at least thirty days in advance, and we refund the part of the period already paid that will not be provided.
7. Right of withdrawal
You have fourteen days to withdraw from a paid subscription, without giving any reason and without paying any costs other than those described below. The period runs from the day after the day of subscription; if it ends on a Saturday, a Sunday or a public holiday, it is extended to the next working day (French Consumer Code, art. L. 221-18 and L. 221-19).
Your plan starts as soon as you pay, before this period ends, because you expressly request it when subscribing. If you withdraw, you therefore pay for the service provided until you communicate your decision, in proportion to the price of the current period (art. L. 221-25); we refund the rest no later than fourteen days after your decision, using the means of payment you used (art. L. 221-24). Once the contract has been fully performed, you no longer have the right of withdrawal.
The simplest way to withdraw is the “Withdraw from the contract here” function, available from the application’s “My account” page throughout the period. It identifies the subscription concerned, asks for your name and the address where you want the acknowledgement of receipt, and is validated with the “Confirm withdrawal” button; an acknowledgement of receipt repeating your statement, its date and its time is then sent to you by email.
You may also send us the form below, or any other unequivocal statement setting out your decision to withdraw, using the contact form or by post to the registered office.
The right of withdrawal belongs to consumers: a customer who subscribes for the purposes of their business does not have it. The free plan, which commits you to no payment, calls for no withdrawal.

8. Legal guarantee of conformity
Like any provider of a digital service, we are liable for lack of conformity of the service under the conditions laid down by law. The boxed text below translates the text that the French Consumer Code requires us to reproduce (art. D. 211-4), which the French version of this page gives in full; the supply period in it is the duration of your subscription.
The consumer is entitled to invoke the legal guarantee of conformity if a lack of conformity appears within a period equal to the duration of the subscription, from the supply of the digital content or digital service. During this period, the consumer only has to establish the existence of the lack of conformity, not the date on which it appeared.
The legal guarantee of conformity entails the obligation to supply all updates necessary to keep the digital content or digital service in conformity throughout the duration of the subscription.
The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to have the digital content or digital service brought into conformity without undue delay following the request, free of charge and without major inconvenience.
The consumer may obtain a price reduction while keeping the digital content or digital service, or may terminate the contract and obtain a full refund in exchange for giving up the digital content or digital service, if:
- The trader refuses to bring the digital content or digital service into conformity;
- Bringing the digital content or digital service into conformity is unjustifiably delayed;
- The digital content or digital service cannot be brought into conformity without costs imposed on the consumer;
- Bringing the digital content or digital service into conformity causes major inconvenience for the consumer;
- The lack of conformity of the digital content or digital service persists despite the trader’s unsuccessful attempt to bring it into conformity.
The consumer is also entitled to a price reduction or to terminate the contract where the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies an immediate price reduction or termination. The consumer is then not required to request that the digital content or digital service be brought into conformity first.
Where the lack of conformity is minor, the consumer is entitled to cancel the contract only if the contract does not provide for payment of a price.
Any period during which the digital content or digital service is unavailable in order to be brought back into conformity suspends the remaining guarantee until the digital content or digital service is supplied in conformity again.
These rights result from articles L. 224-25-1 to L. 224-25-31 of the French Consumer Code.
A trader who obstructs the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity in bad faith is liable to a civil fine of up to 300,000 euros, which may be increased to 10% of average annual turnover (article L. 242-18-1 of the French Consumer Code).
The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for two years from the discovery of the defect. This guarantee gives the right to a price reduction if the digital content or digital service is kept, or to a full refund in exchange for giving up the digital content or digital service.
To invoke these guarantees, contact MG INNOVATIONS, 320 Rue Saint Honoré, 75001 PARIS, France, using the contact form.
9. The tax module
The tax module offers two tools: a simulation of the amounts of French form No. 2086, which reports individuals’ gains on disposals of digital assets (article 150 VH bis of the French General Tax Code), and help preparing French form No. 3916-bis, which reports digital asset accounts held abroad.
These are calculation aids. The amounts they display are indicative: they are reconstructed from the data you have imported or entered and from available public prices, so their accuracy depends on how complete that data is.
The tool says what it cannot price rather than replacing it with a zero: an unknown price, a transaction to be classified or a missing entry is flagged, disposal by disposal, and the calculation shows its degree of reliability. The readings chosen in situations the texts do not settle are displayed, with their effect on the tax.
It is neither a tax return, nor personalised tax or legal advice, nor a legal consultation within the meaning of article 54 of French Act No. 71-1130 of 31 December 1971: it applies the same rules to everyone, without examining your particular situation.
You remain the filer: you are the one who enters the amounts on impots.gouv.fr, after checking them, and who answers for your return to the tax authorities. For a complex situation, or if in doubt, consult a qualified professional, such as a lawyer or chartered accountant.
Tax rules change, in particular with each finance act. We update the module within a reasonable time; the official texts cited in the tool prevail.
10. Exchange connectors and wallets: read-only
To connect an exchange through its API, you create a key there that is limited to reading, and it is up to you to check, on the exchange’s screen, that it allows neither placing orders nor withdrawing funds. Crypto Master uses only read functions: it places no orders and makes no withdrawals.
The keys you entrust to us are stored encrypted, are never displayed again, and you can remove them at any time. For a wallet, the public address is enough: we will never ask for your recovery phrase or a private key, and you must never enter them.
What we can see and what we cannot do is detailed on the Security page.
11. Your use of the service
You use the service for its intended purpose and in accordance with the law: you only import data that concerns you or that you are authorised to process; you do not try to access other people’s data or to disrupt the service (attacks, massive automated extraction, circumventing your plan’s limits); you do not resell access to your account or make it available to a third party.
The structure of the service, its texts, its code and its graphic elements belong to the publisher; your subscription gives you personal use of them for the duration of the contract. The data you import remains yours.
12. Availability and changes to the service
The service is in principle available at all times. It may be interrupted for maintenance or an update, or affected by the failure of a third-party service it relies on — an exchange, a blockchain data provider, a price source. We strive to limit these interruptions and to announce them when they are foreseeable; they do not reduce your rights under the legal guarantee of conformity.
The service evolves: we may change it to improve it or to keep up with technical developments, without a price increase or a loss of quality. The price of a running subscription can only change if it has been announced to you by email at least thirty days before it applies; you may then cancel before that date, free of charge.
13. Liability
Each party is liable for its own breaches, under the ordinary rules of law. No provision of these terms limits or excludes the right to compensation that the law grants to consumers.
We are not liable for damage that does not result from a breach on our part: in particular where it is due to inaccurate or incomplete data you have imported or entered, to the use of your credentials by someone you entrusted them to, or to a case of force majeure within the meaning of article 1218 of the French Civil Code. These examples in no way restrict your rights under the legal guarantee of conformity.
The figures displayed describe the past from your data; an investment decision or a tax return based on them remains yours, and the tax module tells you what it could not price.
14. Personal data
The data we process, why, on what legal basis, with whom, for how long, and how to exercise your rights: it is all described in the privacy policy. We do not sell your data.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. A new version applies to new accounts and subscriptions as soon as it is published on this page, where its date appears at the top.
For an existing account or a running subscription, it is announced to you by email at least thirty days before it applies; if you refuse it, you may cancel before that date, free of charge. A new version can neither increase the price of your subscription without this notice nor reduce the essential features of your plan.
16. Complaints, mediation and governing law
For any complaint, please write to us first using the contact form: most difficulties are settled that way.
If your written complaint is not resolved, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge, with a view to an amicable settlement of the dispute (French Consumer Code, art. L. 612-1).
As of this version, the publisher has not yet appointed a consumer mediator; the mediator’s contact details will be published on this page as soon as one is appointed.
These terms are governed by French law. A consumer who lives in another Member State of the European Union keeps the protection granted by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country. Failing an amicable settlement, the dispute is brought before the competent courts; the consumer may choose either one of the courts designated by the French Code of Civil Procedure or the court of the place where they lived when the contract was concluded or when the harmful event occurred (French Consumer Code, art. R. 631-3).
These terms are offered in French and in English; in case of doubt or of any discrepancy between the two versions, they are interpreted in the way most favourable to the consumer (art. L. 211-1).
